Conveniently located near various attractions and activities, making it easy to explore around. A good variety of dining options can be found close by. the building and rooms are well-maintained, though they could use more windows to let in fresh air. 🏨.

The location was marvellous and lovely, just next door to activities in the area and the harbour and Aarhus. The staff was amicable and excellent. Our room was extremely spacious with minimal windows to open and the overall experience was relaxing.

Swimming pool - it was wonderfulll to swim in the clean, refreshing water early in the morning. Location was very good because we came with Stena Line from Sweden. Pleased with special price in family room for one night.

Good size internal pool. Rooms at the back, away from car park and receptions, overlook forest and would likely be peaceful
We were unfortunate to have a room near the reception area where some young people were carrying on noisily for hours in the middle of the night. We wonder why the night receptionist did nothing about it. The room was a bit small (seemsed less than 23 sqm). The hotel is not next to the beach as claimed (it is on the other side of a road some distance from the beach).

I was pleasantly surprised by the charming and cozy ambiance of the hotel. The beautiful vintage decor in the lobby and common areas made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility throughout the hotel, with wide hallways and elevators conveniently located near the rooms.
I would have preferred more assistance and attention from the staff, especially when it came to catering to the needs of senior guests. The young staff members seemed inexperienced and sometimes lacked the patience and understanding that older guests may require.

The only plus point for this Hotel was the friendly greeting from the young lady on reception, so top marks there. About 3 minute drive to the Ferry Terminal for Varberg.
Upon arrival, one was greeted with overflowing bins outside Reception and Table's outside the Bar that were covered with used cups and glasses from the night before possibly. For the price of rooms, I would have expected ac, a proper bathroom, full range of satellite channels and not peeling paint on the window frames. The Sauna was out of action. Resturant and Bar only open Thursday to Saturday, we arrived on Sunday, its a long walk to town. Reception staff on Monday morning where having a loud conversation about a staff member they did not like which all could hear. Breakfast very poor, obviously not been topped up since start and it showed! When at least 10 people came in after us and asked for more Bacon, a terseand very rude reply was given by the server that they could not have it. It would seem Guests are an inconvenience.

The wellness area and the opening hour from 7-23.
The generel smell in the room and the noise from the bathroom (air canal).

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming old-style decor of the hotel. The vintage furniture, beautiful wallpaper, and elegant curtains created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained, and I especially appreciated the comfortable seating areas where I could relax and read a book. As a senior, I found the hotel to be very accessible, with easy access to the main entrance, elevator, and dining area.
One small improvement that I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is to have more handrails installed in the common areas and hallways. This would provide additional support and stability for elderly guests, ensuring a safer and more comfortable stay.

If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, this hotel is perfect! You can enjoy the picturesque view of the sea while lounging on the beach or exploring local attractions. the rooms are functional, with comfortable beds and some even have excellent pool views. the breakfast selection is fresh and plentiful. the pool, sauna, steam room, and hot tub are excellent ways to unwind. Unfortunately, the bathrooms show signs of wear, but the friendly and accommodating staff makes up for it. this is a great place for a short stay.
